Wow, it’s been a few days. Sorry for the little break there. I still don’t believe how busy I have been doing a ton of little things since I went per diem at my job that I don’t remember how I got ANYTHING done when I worked full time. I had joined the Clickin Moms forum and while I haven’t posted a blessed thing, I have spent countless hours reading other peoples posts. Very interesting stuff, lots of GREAT ideas and a few I didn’t agree with. But it’s perfectly ok not to agree with every thing…that’s what makes us unique.
Thursday, Judi and I shopped till we dropped…literally! Well I was tired when we were done. I took her to Hobby Lobby so I could pick up some Easter photography props. She thanked me very much for turning her on to another store…now her favorite too! 🙂
I bought a couple of baskets, a newborn headband and 2 more clips for it, a few bunches of tulips, pink, yellow and white, and some awesome ruffley fabric for backdrops for infant photo shoots. Oh we can’t forget the 2 cutest Easter bunnies. This is my second time there and still haven’t seen the whole store, partially because I’m afraid to go down certain aisles for fear of drooling all over myself. You should see the wrought iron furniture! Ok I peeked but didn’t go down the aisle. Judi was looking at hassocks and MADE me look down that aisle! Honest! Afterwards we had a fantastic lunch at Applebees. All in all it was a great day.
Friday it snowed…yes snow! We didn’t have much, then it quickly changed to rain. John got finished with work early and came home to pick me up and yes I went shopping again! He wanted to show me a store in Middletown that has every type and size fabric available. I am in the market for new back drops. I want a larger white and black one, and maybe a tie dyed blue or brown one. Well, we got there and it was closed! My luck, but I know where it is so next time Judi and I will hit it during the week. We also stopped at some store and I found this cute little boys cowboy had and some adult had that kind of looks like a cross between some Mexican hat and a Calvary hat. It’s hard to explain, if I get a chance tomorrow I’ll take a picture of it and see what you think.
As I said earlier, I joined a forum named Clickin Moms. During my reading I learned a little more about using lightroom for post production of photos. I thought I knew as much as there was to know about lightroom but I was wrong. It feel so good to learn something new, and I had to try it out on these 2 pictures.
These 2 were taken the day we went to the Salasian Mission Park. What do you think? Oh, I forgot…I also made a new logo for the business. How do you like it?
So in ending for tonight, I want to remind everyone about our Easter Special. Here are the details.
Don’t wait too long, spots are running out. I have so much planned for you guys including a new contest I am sure you will love.
Until next time…keep smiling!
